Here's the deal...

Friday, December 30, 2011

I'm pretty sure I've been walking around with dating 'beer goggles' for the last ten years. Its the only way I can explain my dating experience over the last decade... because all I've done is settled for subpar men who have regularly disrespected and hurt me when i never settle for anything. Thankfully, they've all given me good lessons on mothering, trusting my gut (I swear...it has yet to be wrong) and that (surprise, surprise), its not my job to fix their problems.

The goggles finally came off, my heart opened and im feeling fully secure in myself and my ability to pick  stand up, quality, deserving, no excuses, darling men from here-on-out. And also... hopefully men with beards. Handsome beards.

Speaking of... does anyone have any beard goggles? :)
