Oh, hi there...

It would make sense I'd take a little time to write here when I have about six case studies, 200 pages and two papers to write (just for next week), but I"ve been rolling around on the lower quarter of my gas tank and i think maybe i'm allowed a break.

The last two weeks has included:
-200 patients at the clinic.
-4 new classes - marketing (awesome) accounting (meh), sports and entertainment management (supremely awesome with the best, best, salt-of-the-earth amazing teacher on the planet) and it management strategy, which makes me feel stupid on a regular basis and requires way too much of anyone's time... including the teacher's

By Sunday, I am absolutely shot. My mom calls it my "Lois Day."

Bizarre.

I was watching the episode of Man V. Food where he conquers the "Kitchen Sink" (8 scoops of ice cream, toppings, whip cream in an hour) in San Francisco and got an unbelievable craving for ice cream.

Poor me has no ice cream, and given the bath I just took, there's no way in hell i'm driving to the store.

So i mix in some Noosa blueberry yogurt with dark chocolate chips and it's absolutely the oddest thing, but it tastes just like cookie dough.

Of course, it could just be my wonky, lack-of smell.
Give it a try tho. seriously, deliish!

Denver's Music Scene kicks your city's music scene.

I'm so glad to be in the thick of it since i got here. Stepped back for awhile, but was reminded when I attended John Common & Blinded Flashes' of Light's CD Release for the Beautiful Empty on Saturday night that I'm still tied in and blessed with amazing friends with amazing talents.

First, John Common's show --- amazing. From the music video submissions to the light box project, Danielle at the Sandwich, Achilles Lauro and snagging a comfy chair at the front of Casselman's with miss Lia. The night was amazing. I have developed a girl crush on Jessica DeNicolli - salt of the earth wonderful, beautiful, and when she sings, oh my land, watch yourself and tell me you don't feel different... (this is out of season, but cute)



Plus, you know... JC started The People's Kazoo Orchestra oh, what? a year ago... Awesome.

Along with that, comes one of my favorite emerging artists in town... Jen Korte & the Loss. Just put this song on play and repeat... (Jess sings harmonies here, as well...)

Could she be any more fabulous?

I think I'm on the verge of breaking up with technology. It's sucking the romance and mystery out of life. Oh, and screwing me out of sleep...
Starting next Tuesday, I think this is going to be feasible.
Hooray!

Also, a few friends have mentioned Saturn return, since my 28th birthday is fast approaching. If this has anything to do with all of the obnoxious dreams I've been having, of which I won't bother to elaborate, then Saturn can go suck an egg.
I hate being a girl sometimes.
